Head Coach/Artistic Director
Elissa Meyer-Thomas
Elissa has a Masters Degree in Choreography from Melbourne University and has had an extensive career as a performer, dancer, choreographer and producer in entertainment, theatre, runways, show touring, television and corporate events. She has taught dance across Victoria including at the National Theatre Ballet School, the National Institute of Circus Arts (NICA), Victorian Dance Schools, Primary & Private Schools & Gymnastics Clubs, Brisbane Institute of Sport & Melbourne Institute of Sport, and owned multiple dance schools herself as well as, coaching and coordinating gymnastics centres. Elissa fell in love with Aesthetic Group Gymnastics when her daughter began competing in the genre in 2017. Elissa came to love AGG with her daughter in the 8 - 10 Category winning Silver at the Asia Pacific Cup International Aesthetic Group Gymnastics Tournament in Chengdu China in 2018 and Gold in 10 - 12 Short Program Category at the 7th Total Gym International Gymnastics Tournament in Malaysia in 2019. Elissa is excited to develop AGG in Brisbane Queensland.

Senior Guest Coach
Erin Hokin
Erin was appointed as Senior Coach at Artistry AGG Gymnastics. Erin is highly respected with lengthy experience and expertise. She is a qualified Women’s Artistic Gymnastics Judge and Coach, a Rhythmic Gymnastics Judge and Coach, an accredited Cecchetti Classical Ballet Teacher, and a Progressing Ballet Technique Qualified Teacher. Erin has previously been an AGG Judge and Coach and has been overseeing the AGG competition teams, preparations, and weekly lesson plans. She is currently our Guest Coach for workshops and events.

Head Coach Grace Gymnastics Victoria
Grace Lasslett
In her gymnastics career Grace achieved the all-around Gold at the 2016 Rhythmic Victorian Championships and successfully became the Runner-up in the ball category at the 2016 Australian Gymnastics Championships. Outside Australia, Grace reached podiums in competitions across Japan, Malaysia, Italy, and France. She has also trained at the Australian Institute of Sport in Canberra. Grace and her team have also successfully trained and competed in Aesthetic Group Gymnastics bringing home multiple Gold medals in All-Around from Malaysia and Japan. Grace began coaching for Artistry AGG before taking ownership of the Club when Elissa moved to Queenland in 2023. She has since rebranded and created her own accomplished Club named Grace Gymnastics. From star athlete to influential coach, Grace inspires with her commitment to excellence in rhythmic and aesthetic group gymnastics.

AGG Coach/Dance Teacher
Charlize Meyer-Thomas
Charlize has trained and competed in Rhytmic Gymnastics since the age of 5 years obtaining many Gold Medals in Victoria. She has competed internationally in Aesthetic Group Gymnastics (AGG) winning Silver at the Asia Pacific Cup in Chengdu China in 2018 and Gold at the Total Gym Tournament Malaysia in 2019. She has trained and competed in rhythmic gymnastics and/or AGG at Prahran RG, Glen Iris RG, Aspire RG, Premier RG and PGYC Logan RG as well as trainng in RAD and Vaganova and broader dance styles, at The Australian Ballet School, Queensland Ballet Academy, Queensland National Ballet and Conroy Dance Centre. Charlize is currently obtaining her Certificate 1 in Sport Coaching & Sport Safety.
Charlize has been coaching AGG since 2020.

Alicia Regula
Alicia is currently a FIG qualified international rhythmic gymnastics coach but she has also coached Aesthetic Group Gymnastics in Spain and in the United States. Her knowledge of international AGG is an impressive asset to the gymnasts training and competition preparation. Alicia Coaches AGG workshops at Artistry AGG.

General Manager
Sarah Dew
Sarah and Elissa have worked together previously for many years in the corporate event industry, dance schools and show production and touring. Sarah went on to complete a Master Degree in Oenology and worked in vineyards throughout the Mornington Peninsula. Sarah has returned and we are thrilled to have her wealth of knowledge and clever administrative expertise behind the scenes here at artistry AGG.
